When it comes to Bible study, the Minor Prophets are usually treated as just that, “minor.” 

The reality is the minor prophets, or the Book of the Twelve, have a great deal to offer

the Christian who is willing to invest the time to study these compact packages of divine truth. 

They have much to say on a variety of topics including how God deals with sin and rebellion, 

God’s relationship with those peoples outside the Jewish and Christian faiths, the depth of God’s mercy, 

the certainty of His judgment, the promise of the Messiah, the hope of redemption and restoration, 

and even the last days.  In short, these and many more of the “major” doctrinal topics

of the Bible are found in the Minor Prophets.
